Overview

The University of Cambridge is the fourth oldest university in the world and one of the most prestigious. Globally recognized for innovation, the university’s researchers join forces with researchers from all over the world and form partnerships in Africa, America, Europe, and Asia.

The legendary university many dreams of has been demoted to 3rd place in the 2022 QS World University Rankings with an overall score of 98.7. The areas that helped the University of Cambridge received the greatest ratings were academic reputation, faculty-to-student ratio, citations per faculty, and international-faculty ratio.

With 31 universities in the area and with their own internal procedures, Cambridge University’s selection process is very difficult and only the best candidates are invited. It also has six schools: Arts and Humanities, Biological Sciences, Clinical Medicine, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Physical Sciences and Technology. Cambridge is just 95km from London and well-connected to most of the UK. The university offers 30 different undergraduate programs covering over 65 disciplines and over 300 graduate programs. Short online courses are also available for learning.

When it comes to accommodation, most Cambridge students are promised the same for three years in university-owned properties. Some universities even accept 4th-year students. Students can also choose an apartment or house in the city owned by some university colleges.

At Cambridge, the financial support offered to international students includes various country grants, Cambridge Commonwealth, European and International Trust Awards, and College Awards. To get this, you need a letter of admission from the university, along with many other important qualifications. Separately, Gates Cambridge Scholarships offer full scholarships to outstanding students outside the UK who wish to pursue full-time PG courses here. Over 60% of students were hired by a top company or chose to go on to study six months after graduating.
