Cornell University was the first university to introduce a four-year school of hospitality management and industrial and labor relations. He was also awarded the world’s first degree in journalism from Cornell University. In addition, he received the first US degree in veterinary medicine and the first doctorate in electrical and industrial engineering from Cornell University.
Academically, Cornell University has nine undergraduate colleges and eight graduate and vocational schools offering over 100 minors, 80 majors and 102 majors.
