GATE 2023: Exam Date, Notification, Syllabus, Examination Pattern
The official GATE 2023 Notification released in July 2022 and IIT Kharagpur will conduct GATE 2023. The GATE Exam will be conducted usually in the month of February in the first and second weekend all across the country and worldwide.
The Application form for GATE 2023 released in first week of September and the last date for filling the form in a regular period is 07th October 2022. Also, a new Question type called MSQs(Multiple Select Questions) has been introduced in GATE 2021.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is a national level examination conducted by GATE Committee every year for undergraduates seeking admission into postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Financial Assistance is also provided to the students of MTech/MS and PhD programmes by MHRD, Ministry of India. The GATE Scorecard is valid for three years from the year of its issuance. The GATE Score is used by PSUs (Public Sector units) for recruitment of engineers as a management trainee.
GATE 2023 Application Fee
From GATE 2021, You are allowed to opt for two papers with some conditions for Paper II.
The Application FEE for GATE 2023 depends on the Regular Period and Extended Period.
For Regular Period (Per paper):
For Female Candidates: ₹850 only, For SC/ST/PwD Candidates: ₹850 only, For All other Candidates: ₹1700 only
For Extended Period (Per Paper):
For Female Candidates: ₹1350 only, For SC/ST/PwD Candidates: ₹1350 only, For All other Candidates: ₹2200 only
GATE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program OR has already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts. There is no Age Limit for this exam.
