Tech Layoffs: How Engineers should be prepared for this chaotic situation.

In the month of July 2022, Sundar Pichai the CEO of Google announced a hiring freeze in the company for the next few quarters. He also told his employees to work harder and be more efficient to survive this recession period. That was the first sign of the impact of the economic downfall on the tech Industry. Since then many big companies like Meta, Twitter, Netflix, and Amazon have announced layoffs in the last 3 months.
Although It was not new for India, by the start of this year many Indian startups had also laid off a lot of employees. This is a tough time for the laid-off Engineers as well as learning for the Engineers in other companies and students who are still in college. Let’s list out few things that Engineers and Students can do in this Layoff Season.
